WORLD RECORD BROKEN AT SCSC! (well, unofficially) Meet Joshua Ayres, ELA Teacher at Junction City High School. Josh has attended over 20 days of PD at SCSC this summer. Talk about going above and beyond (and beyond). He even brought our staff homemade peach and cherry jelly. He has become a member of our co-op family. Strengthening Families is a 21-hour training that focuses on engaging families and communities in building the five key Protective Factors of the Strengthening Families framework. The lessons provide valuable insight into parental resilience, knowledge of parenting, offering support in times of need, children’s social and emotional competence, and helping families build positive social connections.
