SCSC, United Welding Institute, and SAU Magnolia recently partnered to create a unique Recruitment and Certification Event. Participants achieved 95% passing rate for a Nationally Recognized Credential for American Welding Society. 32 area high school students will not only receive the certification but this now allows them for a Merit Demonstration. SCSC is providing opportunities to help accelerate Success Ready Pathway Distinction.

Thank you to United Welding Institute and SAU Magnolia for the American Welding Society Certification Event. 40 students and teachers had the opportunity to test for AWS. AWS is nationally accredited certification in welding and this event ensures participants with valuable work ready skills.
