STICK THE LEARNING (Full Day)-This is based upon Stick the Learning.
Increase Retention, Application, and Transfer
This isn’t a sit-and-get—it’s a dynamic, hands-on day of learning designed to transform classroom practice. Stick the Learning bridges the gap between the science of learning and classroom instruction, showing educators not just what works, but how to make it work for their students.
Participants will:
Explore how the brain changes and learning occurs in response to effective instructional techniques.
Discover three powerful desirable difficulties backed by decades of research proven to increase long-term retention and transfer.
Design and apply classroom-ready strategies that can be implemented immediately.
Collaborate with leaders to identify what effective implementation looks like and how to support it through coaching, feedback, and professional learning communities.
Educators of all grade levels and subjects will leave energized and equipped to use these evidence-based, brain-friendly practices the very next day. Curriculum leaders and administrators will gain a clear understanding of what to look for in classrooms and how to sustain these practices through meaningful support and follow-up

Spots are still available for PCMA Behavior Tools at SCSC. A nationally recognized course and a companion piece to PCM Training, (Tier 3) Behavior Tools PCMA course is a non-physical, research-based curriculum that has been shown to improve interaction between teachers, staff, caregivers, and those they assist- resulting in important outcomes such as less hands-on crisis intervention and problem behaviors. This is a two day event and participants are required to attend both days. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certification.
