SCSC partnered with SAU to provide non-traditional career exploration for students with funding from Arkansas DCTE. Over 85 students participated today in exploring non-traditional careers. Groups were able to learn more about Game and Fish and Drones, welding, robotics, cnc technology, education and nursing. Thank you SAU staff and students for a great day!#weARsouthcentral







Today SCSC had the opportunity to meet and greet Hampton High School students at their career fair. Lots of great conversations were being made to help direct students into various colleges and careers. Students also had the chance to test their skills in the Be Pro Be Proud Truck. SAU Tech ABC preschoolers learning ways to make things go. We learned push, pull, lift, throw. Students measured how far each went as well as how far throwing a rock and a sock. Discussion the findings. Students also learned sound story learning letter Q and the /qu/ sound.
