SCSC is excited to to host the Girl Power to the Max, Next Level CNC Manufacturing Competition on February 6. We have over 71 projects entered and a huge amount of support from area industry. Thank you to all of the registered schools and the sponsors. We look forward to a great competition. Winners from the event will receive cash and prizes and will move forward in a state competition.


SCSC SAU Tech ABC preschool celebrated the 100th Day of school today as well as Groundhog Day. Students counted to 100 by ones, 5's, and 10's. Students also dressed up for the 100th day of school. Studied about groundhogs and what happens when he sees or doesn't see his shadow.






Congratulations Katie Robertson on completing all steps to become a MagicSchool AI Certified Trainer. This is an incredible accomplishment and will empower you to become a leader on the forefront of AI in education.


SCSC SAU Tech ABC preschool made Valentine's Day cards for Ouachita County Hospice patients and for some hospital patients. Made a total of 54.






SCSC partnered with SAU to provide non-traditional career exploration for students with funding from Arkansas DCTE. Over 85 students participated today in exploring non-traditional careers. Groups were able to learn more about Game and Fish and Drones, welding, robotics, cnc technology, education and nursing. Thank you SAU staff and students for a great day!#weARsouthcentral








Today SCSC had the opportunity to meet and greet Hampton High School students at their career fair. Lots of great conversations were being made to help direct students into various colleges and careers. Students also had the chance to test their skills in the Be Pro Be Proud Truck. Thank you Hampton for including us.

The enrollment deadline is May 30th and you must have passing Praxis scores to enroll. Take advantage of these next months to prepare and commit to joining us in June!


The Arkansas Kindergarten Readiness Calendar has been a wonderful trusted resource for providers and families throughout our state. This fun interactive calendar has recently been updated by a project coordinated by our friends at the University of Arkansas Early Care and Education Projects. This project is approved and funded by Arkansas Department of Education Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Early Childhood, and University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions, Early Care and Education Projects. So, this resource is not only FUN and FREE, it has the stamp of approval by experts in our state!
