We hope to see you in Magnolia! Coming to SAU-Magnolia this Saturday! There is still time to register for this highly hands-on training for educators working with infants, toddlers, and young three-year-olds will be lots of fun and filled with great ideas to take back and share with children! Day 2 of computer science, teachers learned how to integrate sensors, display units, and actuators into engaging, standards-aligned classroom lessons. By combining these components, participants designed interactive activities that help students see how hardware and software work together to solve real-world problems.
Day 1 of our Computer Science: Teaching Physical Computing with Embedded Systems professional learning is underway!
Today, educators explored how to bring computer science to life by connecting hardware and software through microcontrollers. Participants are gaining hands-on experience designing, programming, and testing embedded systems while discovering engaging classroom activities that help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and programming skills.

Participants explored strategies, resources, and tools designed to help students navigate pathways to success while strengthening college, career, and workforce readiness.

Today, educators, paraprofessionals, and staff participated in another engaging Heartsaver CPR and First Aid certification course. Participants gained the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to confidently respond in emergency situations, helping create safer classrooms and schools for our students and communities.
