I graduated from Strong High School before attending the University of Central Arkansas.
I graduated from UCA in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science in Speech Language Pathology and in 2001 with a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology. After graduation I completed all the requirements to obtain my Certificate of Clinical Competence.
I have had additional training in every area of my field over the past years. Some of these areas include...articulation, phonology, language, social/pragmatic skills, feeding, swallowing, oral motor, fluency, cognition, phonological awareness, voice/resonance, augmentative alternative communication, apraxia, autism, and literacy.
I have worked as a speech language pathologist since 2001. My first years of practice included work in a variety of settings including preschool developmental centers, home health, hospital, nursing home, and public school. I began working for the South Central Service Cooperative in 2009.
I have been married to my husband, Craig, since 2001. We have 2 daughters that attend El Dorado public schools.
