K-12 Literacy Specialist

This specialist will provide instructional, curricular, and data analysis support to K-12 literacy teachers in Calhoun, Columbia, Dallas, Ouachita, and Union Counties.  Experience with knowledge of research, effective practices, professional development, observation and coaching, and instructional leadership are required.  Candidates must be proficient in the use of technology.

This position requires a Master’s degree with an emphasis in literacy.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience in academic coaching and with multiple grade-level experience in English Language Arts.   Applicant must hold a valid Arkansas teaching license, preferably as a K-12 Literacy Specialist.  Preference will be given to applicants possessing 5 years of teaching experience or greater; three years of experience are required.

Teacher Center Coordinator

South Central Service Cooperative in Camden, AR is seeking applicants for a Teacher Center Coordinator.  Job responsibilities will include the following and are not limited to: 

  • Design, coordinate, schedule, and plan appropriate staff development for teachers/administrators in our Cooperative area.
  • Maintain oversight of all staff development done through the Cooperative in all areas.
  • Coordinate special needs and special projects as requested by districts.
  • Coordinate activities of the teacher center committee (TCC), principals, instructional facilitators, and school improvement committees.
  • Must be social media and tech savvy.


  • AR Teaching License
  • Master's Degree plus at least 10 years of teaching and/or administrative experience preferred.
  • Extensive professional development trainer experience
  • Grant writing and management experience.

Speech Language Pathologist

South Central Service Cooperative is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to serve children ages three to five years.  This SLP will be housed in Magnolia, AR at the Walker Campus.  Service areas will be primarily Magnolia and Emerson-Taylor-Bradley early childhood centers but could include Union and Ouachita Counties as needed.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

•   Speech Language Pathology ASHA credential (CCC/SLP)

•   Current Arkansas ABESPA practice license
